Travel from Koh Ngai to Trang Airport or Krabi Airport.
Please don't book early morning flight, as the earliest time for longtail boat to leave the island is about 8 am.
TRANG Airport
Airline: NokAir, Air Asia, Lion Air (To Don Muang airport)
Transfer from Koh Ngai to Trang Airport takes about 2 hrs in total (50 min by Longtial boat, 50 min by Taxi) / private transfer is 2,500 B for 2 persons.
Suggestion: Book a Flight departs after 11.30 am.
KRABI Airport
Airline: Air Asia, Lion Air (To Don Muang airport)
Airline: Thai Smile, Thai Airways, Air Asia, Vietjet Air (To Suvarnabhumi International Airport )
Transfer from Koh Ngai to Krabi Airport takes about 3 hrs in total (50 min by Longtial boat, 1.45 hour by Taxi) / private transfer is 3,800 B for 2 persons.
Suggestion: For Domestic flight, Please book a flight departs after 12.30 o'clock. For International Flight, please book a flight departs after 3 pm.
The services can be booked at the resort.
To Pakmeng pier
There are 3 choices:
- Daily Longtail Boat 2 times/day (Hi-season only)
Price : 350 B/adult , 250 B/child (under 7yrs)
Longtail Boat pick up at resort.
Depart: 11.00 o'clock, 15.00 o'clock
Duration: 1-1.30 hour
*Longtail boat pick up from CoCo Cottage about 15-30 min. before departure time. - Daily speed boat (during Dec- Apr 2024)
Price : 600 B/adult , 400 B/child (under 9yrs)
Boat depart from Sea Open Resort (1.5 km from CoCo Cottage)
Operate: 2 times a day
1) 11.10 o'clock / Arrive Pakmeng pier at 11.30 o'clock.
2) 16.10 o'clock / Arrive Pakmeng pier at 16.30 o'clock.
3. Private longtail boat
Service time started from 8.00 am - 5.00 pm / take 50-60 min to get Pakmeng pier.
Agencies around the pier offers at 1,200 - 1,600 B (for 1- 4pax ) depending on boat size and a kind of engine.
Book with CoCo Cottage: 1,400 THB for 1-2 pax / If there are 3 pax or more, sharing price is 350-400 THB/person.

To Koh Lanta, Koh Mook, Koh Kradan
During November - April
There are many boats and ferries operate during this season. Please find a transportation info in the boat schedules.
Note: Easy to buy a ticket 1-2 days in advance with resort or agencies on Koh Ngai, because there are many thing to consider.
During May - October
Taking a private longtail boat is the only one choice to travel from one island to another one.
To Other Islands
As there are many boats and many routes to get out from the island.
Besides, pick up points of each boat companies are different.
- If you plan to stay at Koh Ngai more than 2 days, we recommend you to check the boat schedules and buy a ticket with our team when you are at the resort.
- On the other hand, if you plan to stay only 1-2 days, and want to buy a ticket in advance, please feel free to contact our team before buy a ticket at sales@coco-cottage.com.
Transfer to other islands or other popular destinations
Tip: If you stay 3 nights or longer, no need to book ticket for departure early.
Because the tide changes daily, some routes may be easier or more difficult on certain days. Our team can help arrange the best route for you. If you stay shorter, please feel free to check the best choice with our team before buy a ticket.
North route:
To Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta: There are 2 Speed boat companies organize this route :

To Railay, Koh Jum, Koh Yao Noi, Koh Yao Yai:
a) Go via Pakmeng pier, then take a private taxi to a pier for each island in Krabi. Able to book at the resort.

To Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Khao Lak, Khao Sok:
a) Go via Pakmeng pier, then take a private taxi. Able to book at the resort.

a) Take a private Longtail boat. Able to book at the resort.
