Child Policy

1. The resort DOES NOT accept a booking with children under 3 years old. Why?
2. FAMILY with small Children should know
   We had been visited by many families with small kids and found that sometimes, some families feel uncomfortable staying here. With careful consideration, our team has agreed to give below information to all parents for good preparation:
   2.1) CoCo beach is rocky, not sandy. Children could enjoy the beach during middle tide only. If you prefer more sandy beach, let's try some resorts in the middle to south of the beach.
   2.2) Behind the resort, it is a tropical jungle that belongs to a national park. So the mosquito problem is difficult to eradicate. Please prepare mosquito protection for your kids. Anyway, we never found a Malaria carrier here.
   2.3) Child's necessary items may be prepared in advance. As there is no market. supermarket, pharmacy on the island. 
   2.4) Our accommodation and all facilities are designed and arranged under the concept of simply living with the nature:
   - No fridge, No microwave in guest’s room. Kid’s medicine or food could be kept in the restaurant's refrigerator.
   - A/C in the room is operated at night. We do understand sometimes a kid needs to sleep in a cold place during the day. But we are so sorry that our restaurant is open air, no a/c. Especially kids who just left the winter season in some countries can get sick from the difference of temperature. 
3. To balance a number of guests and facilities of the resort, staying more than 2 pax is possible with additional cost.
   Maximum guests in each cottage are as below:
   - 2 adults with 2 children (when both are between 3-12 years old), anyway, not possible in some room type.
   - 2 adults and 1 child (when a child is over 12 years old)
   - 3 adults 
4. 3rd PERSON RATE
   - Extra Person: 800 B/night - valid to children 9 years old or over.
     Rate is for extra bed* + Breakfast + Towel set
   - Extra Breakfast : 450 B/night  - valid to children 3-8 years old that sharing bed with parents.
     Rate is for Breakfast + Towel set 
     If extra bed is requested, charged at an Extra Person rate.
   

   Note:1) Extra Bed means Sofa bed set up or Extra mattress - depending on a kind of cottage.
            2) Children under 8 years old are not allowed to stay in a Sea Sense cottage.

Cancellation condition on a Bad weather days:

On check-in date.  IF all of boats stop running (before 4.30 pm) caused by weather conditions.

• Cancel the whole booking is possible. The 1st night will not be charged. Other night(s), cancellation fee is 30% of the room cost.
• Late arrival will be accepted, 1st night will not be charged.  
• Postpone the whole booking is possible without any fee. But the room/promotion rate will be recalculated. 
• In case the guest arrives Pakmeng pier after 4.30 pm. and can not reach the resort by weather condition, the booking is non-refund for all case.
  
  

Advance cancellation & Late arrival referred to the weather forecast.

• Notify 1 day before check-in date:
  • Cancel the whole booking is possible.The 1st night will not be charged. Other night(s), cancellation fee is 30% of the room cost.
  • Late arrival will be accepted, the 1st night or cancelled night will be charged at 30% of the room cost.
  • Postpone the whole booking is possible to do without any fee. But the room/promotion rate will be recalculated. 
• Notify 2-3 days before check-in date.
  • Cancel the whole booking is possible. Cancellation fee is 50% of the room cost.
  • Late arrival will be accepted, the 1st night or cancelled night will be charged at 50% of the room cost.
  • Postpone the whole booking is possible, postpone fee is 200 B/room/night. The room/promotion rate will be recalculated. 
• Notify 4 days (or more) before check-in date: Original booking condition mentioned in each booking will be applied.

Remark:
1. BAD WEATHER means Stormy, Windy, Big waves, Heavy rain that may cause accident or the boat was unable to run.
2. During 20 December - 10 January: only Late arrival will be accepted.
